Fans Informed The Miz About His Potential Records

The Miz didn't know he was close to championship records.

The Miz lost his Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 34 with only twenty days left to break Pedro Morales' record for most combined days as Champion. With one more reign, he would tie Chris Jericho's record for most reigns ever. In an interview with Sport Bible, the Miz said fans let him know he was on the cusp of the records.

"Is it cool? Sure. Do we make a bigger deal of it now, with social media? Absolutely. I wouldn't even be able to tell you unless people tell me on the internet, 'Hey, guess what - you have x amount of combined days until you are beating Pedro Morales for the longest-reigning Intercontinental champion, or, 'You need one more reign to tie Chris Jericho!' I think you guys care about it a little bit more than I do," said the Miz.

At Money in the Bank, the Miz will be competing in the Money in the Bank ladder match against seven other athletes for a contract which guarantees him a WWE Universal Championship match.
