Fenix Scheduled To Wrestle For Big Time Wrestling Following Leg Injury Scare

Good news for Fenix.

On Friday night at Big Time Wrestling, Fenix suffered an apparent leg injury that had many worried about the severity and his status for AEW All Out. Teaming with his Lucha Bro Pentagon Jr against Juventud Guerrera & Teddy Hart, Fenix collapsed when picking up Guerrera, clutching his leg and rolling out of the ring. Fenix was helped to the back and match immediately went to a finish with Guerrera pinning Pentagon Jr.

Taya Valkyrie took to social media shortly after the incident and confirmed that Fenix did not suffer a broken leg.

Big Time Wrestling provided further assurances that the injury isn't as bad as initially feared, announcing that Fenix will wrestle on Saturday night. The announcement reads, "We are happy to announce Rey Fenix will be WRESTLING as schedule tonight in Enfield, CT. He never had a broken leg or anything close to it."

Fenix is still scheduled to compete at AEW All Out when he teams with Pentagon Jr to face The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) in a ladder match.
