Fight Forever Wrestling Announces Cody vs. Will Ospreay As Headliner For Inaugural Event

Fight Forever Wrestling has a big main event for their first show.

Today, the company announced that their Dec. 6 Phenoma event will be headlined by curent NWA World Champion Cody taking on Will Ospreay.

Tony Khan: I Expect An Archive Library For AEW Content To Happen In Our Next Media Rights Deal

Fight Forever Wrestling’s Co-Director Simon Kay told Fight Booth“Cody is on top of his game, he has never been better than he is right now. Will Ospreay, arguably the best wrestler in Britain will not want to lose on home soil. This could very well be the match of the year."

The article states that Cody will be bringing the NWA World Title with him, but first Cody must defend the belt against Willie Mack this weekend at ROH and on Oct. 21 at the NWA 70th Anniversary event. If Cody remains the champion heading into the Dec. 6 bout against Ospreay, given Cody's recent comments about wanting to be a traveling champion, there's a good chance the NWA World Title will be on the line.

The two have squared off twice in singles competition in the past. Cody picked up the victory in both bouts. You can watch their Dec. 2016 bout above.

Phenoma takes place from the PRYZM Nightclub in Birmingham, England.
