- Kevin Owens approached Sami Zayn backstage and wondered what would happen if Zayn did something that upset The Bloodline. While Jey Uso secretly listened in the background, he noted that he has had to bail Zayn out plenty of times in the past. Owens told Zayn to strike first, rather than waiting for The Bloodline to turn on him. Jey then confronted Zayn, who lied about his conversation with Owens.

He said he knows people want to see The Fiend and the monster within, and they want to see the "human tornado" destroy himself. Wyatt stated that it's hard to explain the burdens he has had to face. He denied attacking LA Knight last week, but he was interrupted by Uncle Howdy, who said everyone lies. He said "open your eyes" and warned that a snake in a cage is still a snake. Backstage, LA Knight responded and said he didn't believe anything Wyatt said.

- Later in the show, Knight was found backstage, clearly the victim of another attack.

- Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey attacked Shotzi and Raquel Rodriguez backstage ahead of their match. Baszler and Rousey came to the ring, seemingly thinking that they had taken Shotzi out. But Shotzi came to the ring by herself, so she faced the duo on her own. Rousey and Baszler took control, but Rodriguez, favoring her arm, came to the ring. Rousey yanked the powerhouse's injured arm, and Baszler stomped on it. Rousey then trapped Rodriguez in an arm-bar and made her tap out.
