- Former NFL player and sports radio host Pat McAfee will be taking part in the NXT Takeover: New Orleans Pre-Show. He tweeted his contract signing.
- Yesterday, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp hosted a mid-week wrestling show covering the things not covered on the Raw and Smackdown post-shows. He was joined by Alex Pawlowski.
- WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg appeared on ABC's The Goldbergs this week. In an interview with PA Homepage, Goldberg was asked about his retirement or ever wrestling again.
"Do I want to roll the dice again? I don't know. I'll quote one of the most famous movies that I was ever in, 'Santa's Slay': It ain't over 'til I say it's over." said Goldberg.
- NXT General Manager William Regal is set to make a big announcement next week on NXT.
- On Twitter, Big Van Vader revealed he will be having open heart surgery.
- Ricochet will be making his debut on NXT soon and WWE released the following video regarding him coming to NXT.
