Joe Doering, who made a remarkable return to pro wrestling this year after battling brain cancer in 2016, defeated Suwama to win the Triple Crown title for the second time on Saturday. Suwama only held the title for twelve days, defeating Kento Miyahara back on October 9. Yoshitatsu challenged Doering for the title after the match.

Meanwhile in New Japan, Kazuchika Okada officially surpasses Shinya Hashimoto's IWGP title record today. At 490 day, Okada is the longest reigning IWGP World Heavyweight champion in history.
