- The Fightful Wrestling Weekly was released on Thursday and contains new information about Matt Riddle and a beef squashed between two former WWE wrestlers. The Weekly is available to Fightful Select subscribers.
- On NXT this week, Johnny Gargano incidentally helped Tommaso Ciampa win the NXT Championship and Gargano expressed regret in this tweet.
- The new NXT Champion Ciampa took pictures with the title after his win and WWE video cameras were there for the photoshoot.
- Pittsburgh Steelers’ linebacker Vince Williams appeared at training camp wearing a Stone Cold Steve Austin vest and had Austin's entrance theme playing loudly in his vehicle.
- Tommaso Ciampa has made a habit of claiming to be the greatest sports entertainer of all time and in this interview he claims being Champion makes NXT the best show.
- James Ellsworth sent a good bye message to WWE on Twitter after being fired by Paige.
- Adam Cole has been denying Ricochet match and when interviewed for WWE.com he said it's because Ricochet is not on his level despite being a great wrestler.
- Adam Cole has not regained control over his Twitter account it seems but a lot of the recent tweets made by the culprit have been deleted and there have been no additional tweets.
