Fight Size Update: WWE Listed As A Minority Owner For The XFL, Seating Chart For 'All In', 'Bad Luck Fale's' Special Shout-out, More

Here's your Fight Size wrestling Update for the morning of May 6th, 2018.

- According to a report by way of MLive.com, WWE is listed as minority owners for the XFL in their SEC filings. WWE noted that they entered into a transaction with Vince McMahon's Alpha Entertainment LLC back on April 3rd. The agreement established that WWE granted Alpha Entertainment use of the league's name and already-existing trademarks. The WWE's SEC filing reads as follows:

"Alpha has announced that it expects that this launch will occur in early 2020. Under these agreements, WWE received, among other things, a minority equity interest in Alpha without payment by, or other financial obligation on the part of, WWE."


- In an interview with USA Today current Monday Night RAW superstar Ronda Rousey discussed being a big "doomsday prepper".


- Despite Cody's blessing Matt & Nick Jackson went ahead and revealed the seating chart for their 'All In' show on September 1st which will be held inside of the 'Sears Centre' in Chicago, IL.


- Titus O'Neil & Sasha Banks hosted the 'Steve Irwin Gala' last night and photos can be found on both superstars' Instagram and Twitter pages.


- There is a new batch of content coming to the WWE Network this week including a new episode of 'Table For 3' featuring AJ Styles, Shane McMahon, and Kurt Angle.

MONDAY

- May 7th will feature a brand-new episode of Table For 3 that debuts after RAW. Next week’s show will feature Shane McMahon, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, and AJ Styles.

TUESDAY

- Tuesday, May 8th on the WWE Network will feature a new edition of 205 Live. Here’s the lineup for next week:

* Jack Gallagher and Brian Kendrick vs. Gran Metallik and Lince Dorado
* Buddy Murphy vs. Mustafa Ali

WEDNESDAY

May 9th will feature a new edition of NXT at 8:00 pm EST. Here’s the lineup for next week’s show:

* Heavy Machinery vs. The War Raiders
* EC3 versus Raul Mendoza
* Tommaso Ciampa vs. Kassius Ohno

Wednesday will also see the release of a new edition of Something Else to Wrestle With Bruce Prichard.

THURSDAY

* The latest WWE Collection Spotlights featuring Mickie James and The Corporate Stooges (Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco will debut on Thursday, May 10th.

FRIDAY

A new edition of This Week in WWE moves to Friday on May 11th.


- Prior to the 'Backlash' PPV tonight there will be a preview show before the kickoff show as Mike Rome & Cathy Kelley will host an edition of 'WWE Now' with SmackDown Live stars Charlotte Flair & Big Cass as guests. WWE.com posted the following regarding the preview show:

"Tensions are mounting as WWE Backlash approaches this Sunday, with Superstars from both Raw and SmackDown LIVE looking to make their mark in the wake up of the Superstar Shake-up. Hours before the show gets going on WWE Network, blue brand Superstars Charlotte Flair and Big Cass will join a live WWE Now preview of the event, hosted by Cathy Kelley and Mike Rome."


- As it appeared that Glenn Jacobs was on his way to becoming the mayor of Knoxville, the Tennessee county's election website was hit with a 'DDoS' attack


- On night one of NJPW's 'Wrestling Dontaku' event The Young Bucks & Marty Scurll defeated Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, and Bad Luck Fale for the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championships. Following the bout during the post-match press conference Fale spoke on his team's loss and also gave a special shout-out to his former 'Bullet Club' brothers: AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.
