Here's a Fight Size Update for WWE's 31st annual SummerSlam PPV.
- On the SummerSlam kickoff show WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler made his return to WWE television after his whirlwind of a summer deriving from the untimely passing of his son Brian Christopher Lawler.
- The B-Team "accidentally" retained their RAW Tag Team Championships when they faced The Revival on the SummerSlam kickoff show.
- There was a new promo for the forthcoming 'Hell In A Cell' PPV which is on September 16th in San Antonio, TX
- A photo of RAW's male and female head honcho's were taken after their respective championship wins and Ronda Rousey also received the "Triple H" photo op.
- Braun Strowman made short work of Kevin Owens in their match at SummerSlam in-which the Money In The Bank briefcase was on the line.
- Maryse was ringside for The Miz versus Daniel Bryan match and she guided her husband to victory. Maryse passed Miz a pair of brass knuckles which were enough to secure him the victory in his grudge match against Daniel Bryan.
- Natalya was front and center for the RAW Women's Championship match and watched her friend Ronda Rousey earn her first WWE title. Before the match between Alexa Bliss and Ronda Rousey kick-started, Nattie sported her late-father Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart's jacket as she made her way to the ring.
- The WWE Championship match between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe ended in a DQ as Joe taunted the wife of AJ Styles and stated that he was going to be the family's "new daddy" which sent Styles into a rage.
-After capturing the SmackDown Live Women's Championship, Charlotte Flair embraced her "friend" and the woman who she pinned to become the champion, Becky Lynch. Once the embracing came to an end, Becky Lynch unleashed her frustration and laid waste to Charlotte.
- Seth Rollins defeated Dolph Ziggler to become a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion.
- Former WWE Divas Champions Brie and Nikki Bella were featured in a number of shots and segments throughout the SummerSlam PPV.
- Finn Balor's "Demon King" character made its return to SummerSlam and Finn made quick work of his opponent "Constable" Baron Corbin.
