At Wrestle Kingdom 13, Kenny Omega lost the IWGP Heavyweight Title to Hiroshi Tanahashi in the main event. The loss has led to a lot of speculation on what Omega's next move in pro wrestling will be.
Omega's contract with NJPW expires this month and it is no secret that he is one of the most sought-after names in the business. WWE reportedly made him a "fantastic offer" to sign with them. Meanwhile, All Elite Wrestling officially opened their doors and Omega has ties to Cody and the Young Bucks, both personally and professionally. Of course, Omega has also been a staple in New Japan, beginning in 2010 as a member of the Junior Heavyweight tag division and rising all the way to the top of the mountain, becoming the IWGP Heavyweight Champion in 2018.
