Film Projects Involving MVP In The Works
Two projects involving MVP.
Deadline published a new story that has to do with projects that MVP is involved in.
Damian Abraham, former host of ‘THE WRESTLERS’ on VICE, is co-launching a company named ‘Cut & Paste Pictures’ that is based in Toronto, Canada. They’ll be pushing out scripted, unscripted, and documentary projects.
One of those projects is in pre-production, and it is a feature-length documentary about the friendship between AEW’s MVP and ‘Rise Against’ guitarist Zach Blair. Production kicks off this summer in Texas.
An unscripted project is on the books titled ‘Exit Strategy,’ which documents MVP’s life after prison. He was arrested in his teenage years for involvement with the orchestrated heist of a cruise ship casino. He served nearly a decade of prison time.
MVP began his pro wrestling career in 2001 and made his WWE TV debut in 2006. He held the WWE United States and WWE Tag Team Titles.
MVP would make his way to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where he became the inaugural IWGP Intercontinental Champion and is the only Black wrestler to ever hold the title. Present day, he is signed to All Elite Wrestling as a member of The Hurt Syndicate with Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley.
