After going through eleven block matches, Hiromu and YOH outlasted the competition on the final night with YOH defeating his former tag team partner SHO to get to 14 points. In the co-main event, El Desperado took on El Phantasmo. A win for Desperado would have put him in the finals, but he was defeated by the Bullet Club standout, keeping him at 13 points.

In the main event, Hiromu bested Robbie Eagles to move to 15 points, putting him at the top of the block.

The winner of the Best of the Super Juniors 28 tournament will go on to Wrestle Kingdom 16 to face the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, which is currently held by El Desperado.

Along with the finals of the Best of Super Juniors, the finals of World Tag League will be decided on December 15 as well. The two finalists will be determined on the final night of block action on December 12.
