Finn Balor: Chelsea Green’s Someone Who’s Been Working Very, Very Hard With Very Little Kind Of Flowers Thrown Her Way For A Long Time

Finn Balor speaks on Chelsea Green’s recent WWE Women’s Championship victory at WWE SummerSlam last weekend.

At WWE SummerSlam earlier this month, Green would feature in a multi-woman ladder match with the Interim WWE Women’s Championship on the line. Chelsea would end up capturing the title in the bout, and received a tidal wave of praise and congratulations in the wake of said victory, which made her a triple crown champion in WWE.

While speaking to Nina Drama in a new interview at a recent Zuffa event, Finn Balor was asked about Green’s championship victory, with Balor noting that he is very happy that Chelsea has gotten her flowers in the wake of her championship win.

“Yeah, I’m very happy for Chelsea. I feel like she’s someone who’s been working very, very hard with very little kind of flowers thrown her way for a long time, and she finally got her flowers, so I’m very, very happy for her.”
