Finn Balor: I Used To Keep Other Departments Happy At The Expense Of My Own Happiness

Finn Balor is having fun with Judgment Day.

Balor aligned with Judgment Day on the June 6 episode of WWE Raw when he orchestrated a turn against Edge, effectively kicking him out of the group and leaving himself alongside Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. Since then, Judgment Day have become the top group on WWE Raw, running roughshod over opponents.

Speaking on BTSport's The Run In, Balor was asked about the creativity he's getting to show with Judgment Day.

"A lot. That's something that was stifled for a lot of years with just the way things work, working for such a big company with so many different departments that you have to keep happy. Everything from merchandise to TV to media, you have to keep all these departments happy. Sometimes, I've done that at the expense of my own happiness, that's something that I've changed in recent years and I feel like that's helped me flourish," he said.

When asked when he thought things started to click for Judgment Day, Balor replied, "Clash at the Castle. The build up to that match, especially, but when we were all laughing at Rey having just gotten kicked in the balls by his son."

Dominik Mysterio would turn on Rey Mysterio at WWE Clash at the Castle, aligning himself with Judgment Day after the event.

Balor is set to take on AJ Styles at WWE Survivor Series. Fans can check out the current lineup for the show by clicking here.
