Finn Balor is back in blue.
Sami Zayn didn't want everyone to be distracted by fans returning and new sets, believing the focus should still be on him and the conspiracies against him, specifically his exclusion from the men's Money in the Bank ladder match.
As Zayn was running down the crowd, the familiar music of FInn Balor hit, marking his return to SmackDown and the main roster. Balor had no time for talking, knocking down Zayn and finishing him off with the coup de grace.

After losing to "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam 2019, Balor was away from the company until he returned to NXT in October. Balor would go on to become NXT Champion in September 2020. He held the title until NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, where he was defeated by Karrion Kross. He lost the rematch to Kross on the May 25 episode of NXT and had been off television since that bout.
