The boyhood nightmare has come true.
On the latest episode of Being The Elite, Trent became the first-ever BTE Champion when he defeated John Silver and Matt Jackson in a triple threat gator golf game that went across multiple hotel rooms. Matt looked to have the title in his grasp when a controversial double tap led to a missed "gimme" shot. Trent capitalized, sending the ball home to capture the title that he never really wanted.
Trent defeated his tag team partner and best friend Chuckie T in the first round and Matt Hardy in the second round before emerging victorious in the triple threat final.

The BTE Championship was introduced in October and can be defended in any form of competition.
It is unknown when Trent will make his first title defense.
