First Match Announced For ROH Best In The World, Dragon Lee's ROH Return Confirmed

The first match is official for ROH's next pay-per-view offering.

Jay Lethal vs. Brody King has been signed for ROH Best in the World on July 11. The bout was announced on the latest episode of ROH Week-By-Week. Lethal and King have been on opposite ends of a faction war as Lethal and The Foundation have consistently battled King and Violence Unlimited ever since the latter was formed at ROH 19th Anniversary.

More matches for the event will be announced in the coming weeks.

As previously announced, ROH will welcome back fans Best in the World. The event is scheduled for Sunday, July 11 from Baltimore, Maryland at the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena.

Lethal teamed with his mates in the Foundation (Jonathan Gresham, Rhett Titus & Tracy Williams) to battle King and Violence Unlimted (Homicide, Tony Deppen & Chris Dickinson) on the May 31 episode of ROH Television. You can find results from the latest episode of ROH Television by clicking here.

It was also announced on ROH Week-By-Week that Dragon Lee will return to the promotion on June 12 to team with Kenny King in an ROH Tag Team Title bout against Rhett Titus & Tracy Williams. The bout will take place under pure rules. The match was originally scheduled for ROH 19th Anniversary, but Lee missed the event due to injury. Titus & Williams defeated La Bestia Del Ring & King to win the title on that night.
