First 'Playing with Fire' Trailer Has John Cena Babysitting Children

John Cena has shown himself to be a deft comedian since his transition from the wrestling ring to the silver screen. Whether he's working as the co-lead in Blockers or delivering the funniest line of Bumblebee in a supporting role, the 16-time WWE Champion has done a commendable job of picking his spots.

Today, Paramount released the first trailer for their upcoming family film, Playing with Fire. Cena stars as a straight-laced fire superintendent who saves three children from an encroaching wildfire. Unfortunately for him, locating their parents proves harder than expected, forcing him and his team to play babysitter.

Playing with Fire is targeting a specific demographic. While its success will ultimately come down to its quality, a November 8th release could allow it to serve as counter-programming for at least a couple of weeks. Doctor Sleep, Midway, Ford v Ferrari, and Charlies Angels are all geared towards adults. It's not until November 22nd when Frozen II hits theatres that families will have an alternative. It seems safe to assume who's going to win that battle.
