The Hex is coming to NWA Empowerrr.
NWA announced that The Hex (Allysin Kay & Marti Belle) will compete in the NWA Women's Tag Team Title tournament at NWA Empowerrr on August 28. They are the first team announced for the tournament.
Mickie James previously announced that the NWA Women's Tag Team Titles would return at Empowerrr, but further details on how they would be decided were not announced at the time. It is unknown how many teams will compete in the tournament.

The NWA Women's Tag Team Titles were introduced in the 1950s, but were retired in 1984 when the titles were sold to the WWF, at which point the WWF Women's Tag Team Championships were created. Princess Victoria & Velvet McIntyre were the final NWA Women's Tag Team Champions.
