Bound For Glory 2021 continues to take shape.
On the September 23 edition of IMPACT Wrestling, Rich Swann and Willie Mack were interviewed backstage and spoke about how they plan to move on from their Tag Team Title loss to The Good Brothers at Victory Road. Mack expressed his desire to pursue the newly vacant X Division Title, while Swann officially declared himself as the first contestant in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet at Bound For Glory.
He was then interrupted by Brian Myers who announced that he would also be in the match. The winner of the bout earns a Championship opportunity of their choosing. Both men made it clear that their sights are set on the IMPACT World Title.
The last winner, Rhino, called his shot earlier this year when he cashed in on Tag Team Champions FinJuice, capturing the belts along with Joe Doering for Violent By Design.
The rules to the match are as follows (via IMPACT):
Two competitors start the match . After a time interval, another will enter the fray. Eliminations occur by throwing your opponent over the top rope. This process will continue until there are only two competitors remaining. The final two will compete in a singles match to be won by pinfall or submission. Whoever scores the victory will earn a future title opportunity of their choosing.
IMPACT Bound For Glory takes place on Saturday, October 23, 2021, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
