Five Matches Added To GCW Presents WWE ID Showcase
Five new matches have been added to GCW’s upcoming showcase of WWE ID talent.
WWE ID announced the following matches for the event, which takes place on August 1st and is part of WWE SummerSlam weekend:
- Non-title – WWE Evolve Champion Jackson Drake vs. Jordan Oasis
- Aaron Rourke vs. Timothy Thatcher
- Grudge Match – Aaron Roberts vs. It’s Gal
- Marcus Mathers will find two partners to face The Vanity Project of Bryce Donovan & Swipe Right
- Ice Williams in action
The event will be headlined by Jack Cartwhell battling Cappuccino Jones to crown the first-ever ID Men’s Champion.
The co-main event will crown the first-ever ID Women’s Champion as Kylie Rae, Zara Zakher, and Zayda Steel battle in a triple threat match.
ID Championships are open to be defended against all independent talents. If a non-ID talents win the title, they will be signed to a WWE Independent Development contract.
