The final stop before Blood & Guts will feature the first-ever parley on wrestling television and several singles matches which could have huge ramifications on the AEW rankings.
This week on AEW Dynamite, both The Pinnacle and the Inner Circle had their final separated war of words before they step inside Blood & Guts on Wednesday, May 5. Next week, there will be an official Parley which Chris Jericho defined as the official declaration of battle plans and breakdown of the rules for the match that is AEW’s answer to WarGames.
In addition to that, five matches will take place. The first of which will be women's action that will see Penelope Ford go one-on-one with Kris Statlander. Statlander made her return counteracting Ford during the Arcade Anarchy match several weeks ago. Orange Cassidy will be double busy next week as not only will he be in the corner of Kris Statlander, but he will go one-on-one with Penta El Zero Miedo.
Also, Hangman Page will go one-on-one with Brian Cage. This match was made after Page defeated Ricky Starks and Team Taz attempted to get the jump on the number one ranked competitor in AEW. In addition to that match, Matt and Nick Jackson will take on another brother duo in Matt and Mike Sydal.
Finally, in a continuation of their faction war, Dustin Rhodes will team with Lee Johnson and Billy Gunn representing The Nightmare Family to go against QT Marshall, Aaron Solow, and Nick Comoroto.
