Les Thornton was born in Manchester, England and traveled the world as a professional wrestler as he competed in Japan, Australia, Canada and the United States. Les Thornton was viewed as one of the best junior heavyweights in the world accredited to the numerous Junior Heavyweight Titles he captured such as the NWA Florida Junior Title, NWA Junior World Title on six separate occasions and winning the 'World Wrestling Council' World Junior Heavyweight Championship twice.

Les Thornton's last match was in April of 1991 at a Canadian National Wrestling Alliance television taping and prior to that he worked a number of house shows for the World Wrestling Federation.
