Bringing back old tag partners of his foes isn't exactly unlike the Miz.
On Tuesday's Smackdown Live, Intercontinental Champion The Miz brought back former WWE Tag Team Champions The Spirit Squad. Current title challenger Dolph Ziggler appeared with the group in 2006 as "Nicky."
Miz only brought back Kenny Dykstra and Mike Mondo, who would later attack Ziggler before he got his revenge. The three, along with Johnny Jeter and Nick Mitchell, captured the tag team titles in 2006 and feuded with D-Generation X.
Mondo went on to wrestle for Ring of Honor between 2010 and 2014, while Kenny became a tight end for Nichols College, where he earned all-district academic honors in 2013. The two, along with Johnny Jeter, appeared at CHIKARA King of Trios in 2014, making it to the second round.
The Miz also brought back Marty Jannetty in 2009, who was a former teammate of then-rival Shawn Michaels.
