Former WWE NXT Wrestler Jeet Rama Launches Promotion In India

A new promotion in India.

There is a new wrestling promotion being launched in India called Pro Wrestling Rebellion, and it is being headed by former WWE NXT talent Jeet Rama.

Rama was with WWE from 2015 until November 2021, when he was released.

The following press release was issued about the new promotion:

Former WWE wrestler and multiple time Indian national champion Jeet Rama has officially announced the launch of a new Indian wrestling promotion, Pro Wrestling Rebellion.

The company was unveiled today through a promotional video which also confirmed that several key names who recently departed Wrestling Xtreme Mania alongside Jeet have joined the new venture. Among those announced were AEW’s Mansoor, who will take on a writing and production role bringing experience from both WWE and AEW television, alongside former Insane Championship Wrestling owner and writer/producer Mark Dallas, whose work helped establish ICW as one of Europe’s best-known independent wrestling brands. Executive producer and former promoter Scott Fillan was also confirmed as part of the project following his exit from WXM.

With an experienced mix of international wrestling, television and production backgrounds behind the scenes, Pro Wrestling Rebellion is positioning itself as a notable new addition to the growing Indian wrestling landscape, with further announcements expected in the coming weeks.

Rama’s last WWE match was on a November 2021 episode of NXT, and he lost to Solo Sikoa in a squash match.
