Former WWE Superstar Rezar (Gzim Selmani) Comments On Signing With BKFC

Gzim Selmani, formerly known as Rezar in WWE, has signed with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
News broke on January 4 that the former WWE Tag Team Champion has signed with BKFC and will be debuting at KnuckleMania 6 on February 7 in Philadelphia.
“After WWE, we left in January, I was thinking if I wanted to continue wrestling or not. I took a little break, healed from some minor injuries, and got back with an old friend of mine,” Selmani said.
That old friend happened to be Shane Watson who’s a boxing manager in the UK. It’s worth noting Selmani is originally from the world of MMA, but he discussed his fighting and boxing options with Watson. Ultimately, BKFC is where he landed.
“There were some options, some good options as well, and then one of the options was BKFC,” he added. “It’s something that’s in my blood. It’s something that’s in my DNA and I think I can do a lot of damage in BKFC.”
The 31-year-old was asked what those other options were, to which Selmani laughed it off and said they were celebrity boxing routes. He doesn’t rule that option out for the future, but now he’s focused on competing against the best.
