Former WWF Talent Rusty Brooks Passes Away

Rusty Brooks, who worked in the WWF in the 1980s, has passed away. He was 63.

PWInsider reports Brooks had undergone surgery a few weeks ago and had been dealing with some health issues.

Brooks worked as an enhancement talent in the WWF throughout the mid-80s. He shared the rings with the likes of Hulk Hogan, Andre The Giant, Jake Robert, Ricky Steamboat, Paul Orndorff, The British Bulldogs, and more. 

He also worked for UWF, NWA Florida, and FOW. During his career, he would capture the FOW World Heavyweight Championship, FOW Tag Team Championships, and FOW Hardcore Championship. 

His last bout on record took place in 2013 when he competed in the Malenko Cup Battle Royal at DWI 4th Annual Malenko Memorial Cup. 

His school in Florida helped train the likes of Gangrel, Normal Smiley, Luna Vachon, Konnor, and MVP.
