Fox Sports 1 Will Continue To Air WWE Content On Tuesdays Through August 11

With major sports being suspended throughout the summer, Fox Sports turned to WWE to fill its schedule. Every Tuesday, Fox Sports 1 had been airing blocks of WWE content which included Network specials and watch-along specials of past events.

Sports are set to resume this week, which could shift the focus of Fox Sports 1. It was reported that FS1's airing of SummerSlam 1992 was bumped due to Major League Baseball on July 21, though that is not the case. While FS1 won't be airing SummerSlam 1992 on Tuesday, the network will instead air SummerSlam 2016.

Fox Sports 1 issued the following statement to POST Wrestling regarding future WWE programming on Tuesdays:

"Tonight’s airing of SummerSlam will not be FS1’s final airing of a WWE in the Tuesday night timeslot, we will continue to have WWE content on FS1’s Tuesday nights through at least Tuesday, August 11".

It is unknown if WWE programming will continue Tuesdays on Fox Sports 1 past August 11.

Fox Sports 1 previously cutback on WWE programming by announcing that WWE Backstage would no longer air in its weekly format
