Frankie Kazarian: AJ Styles vs. John Cena Was A Love Letter To Their Craft, Rivals, Legacy, And Fans

AJ Styles and John Cena paid homage to past rivals in their WWE Crown Jewel match, using famous finishers from the likes of Samoa Joe, Bray Wyatt, Christopher Daniels, Chris Jericho, and more.
During the match, Styles countered a pedigree by hitting Fade to Black, a shoutout to Frankie Kazarian.
On social media, Kazarian posted the following message:
“@AJStylesOrg & @JohnCena was a poetic love letter to their craft, their rivals, their legacy and to the fans. Arguably the two best to ever do it. Honored to have shared the ring with both of these titans. Nothing but love and eternal respect,” he wrote.

Kazarian and Styles battled many times throughout their careers, first sharing the ring in 2003 in TNA and last competing against each other in 2015 in an ROH dark match.
Kazarian faced Cena in UPW in 2003, and teamed with him in 2001 when Cena was Prototype.
