FTR and The Briscoes will wage war one more time.
In the main event iof the December 7 episode of AEW Dynamite, FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) challenged The Acclaimed for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. At the end of the hard-fought match, The Acclaimed scored the win. After the bell, determined to add insult to injury, The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn) delivered a message to Harwood and Wheeler.
In the spirit of Christmas, Austin and Colten gave the ROH World Tag Team Champion a gift, which turned out to a card. The text was apparently written in blood, and in it, The Briscoes (Mark and Jay Briscoe) challenged FTR to a match at ROH Final Battle.
The Gunns then pulled dog collars out of Christmas stockings to reveal that FTR will face The Briscoes in a Double Dog Collar Match at the pay-per-view.
FTR previously beat The Briscoes at ROH Supercard of Honor to win the gold. Harwood and Wheeler defeated the brothers in a rematch at ROH Death Before Dishonor in July.
