Ricky Starks will be back in the ring.
During AEW Rampage, Ricky Starks announced that he will defend the FTW Championship against Matt Sydal at AEW Battle of the Belts on Saturday, January 8.
Starks won the FTW Championship from Brian Cage at AEW Fyter Fest 2021. He has successfully defended the belt on three occasions. He has not defended the title on television since the October 8 episode of AEW Rampage when he defeated Brian Cage in a street fight.
