Less than a week after being given the FTW Championship by Taz, Brian Cage will defend it on Dark.
AEW announced the lineup of matches for the upcoming episode of Dark, taking place on July 14. One of the matches announced is Cage defending the FTW Title against Brian Pillman Jr. Cage was originally set to challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship at Fyter Fest on July 8, but it was postponed for Fight For The Fallen on July 15 due to Moxley being in quarantine.
Pillman made his AEW Dark return on July 7, his first match for the company since he participated in the Casino Battle Royale in the 2019 edition of Double Or Nothing. Pillman faced Shawn Spears on July 7 and the MLW star recently said he would return to an AEW ring.
On Sunday, July 12th, 2020, AEW would update the card for Dark and add a six-man tag team bout spotlighting The Dark Order.
