Tommy rushed the ring to save Josh Alexander who was tied to the ropes after being swindled by Jason Hotch, John Skyler, and Bully Ray. Tommy would end up being attacked with a steel chair by Bully Ray and then, Bully Ray assaulted him with a ladder.

As a result, Josh Alexander asked Scott D'Amore to make the match Full Metal Mayhem, IMPACT Wrestling's version of Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, on Friday, January 13th. D'Amore happily obliged and the main event has been updated.
