Bill Goldberg is one of the more iconic wrestlers of the past three decades following his rise to the top in WCW and WWE in the late 90s and early 2000s. His son Gage has previously spoken on remaining open to the possibility of entering the wrestling industry if his football career doesn’t pan out as planned.
While speaking to Memphis In May in a new interview alongside his father, Gage Goldberg spoke about his mindset surrounding living up to his father’s reputation.
“I mean, I’ve been having to deal with it my whole life, so I mean, I’ve just been overcoming it and just trying to do exactly what he’s been doing and live up to that legacy and then hopefully get over the shadow and become a better badass than he was.”
In another interview last year, Gage spoke about WWE being his career backup plan should his football career not work out. You can read more about that here.
