Another marquee match has been announced for IMPACT Slammiversary 2022.
During the May 12 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, it was revealed by Gail Kim that a 'Queen of the Mountain' match would be taking place at the June 19 event. This is the first time the Knockouts will be featured in this type of contest, the last of which came in May 2016.
The match, which will be for the Knockouts Championship, will see Tasha Steelz defend the belt against Mia Yim, Chelsea Green, Jordynne Grace, and Deonna Purrazzo. After the announcement, all of the competitors, including Taya Valkyrie, came to the ring and fought, but it was Mia, Taya, and Jordynne standing tall to end the segment.
