Gail Kim Comments On Why She Would Not Work WWE's 'Evolution' PPV

What was Gail's explanation?

This past Monday the anticipated announcement was made that the women of WWE were going to be spotlighted with their own PPV entitled 'Evolution'. The announcement was made by WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon, founder and senior producer of NXT Triple H, and the Chairman of the entire ship Vince McMahon.

Stephanie stated that the event will be taking place at the Nassau Coliseum on October 28th and in the press release concerning the announcement it read that the RAW, SmackDown Live, NXT and NXT U.K. Women's Championships will be defended on the PPV. To add, the finals of the Mae Young Classic II which begins its tapings in two weeks will occur at 'Evolution' as well. With five matches having being set for the show, WWE Hall Of Famers Lita, Trish Stratus and Beth Phoenix were confirmed for the event as well as former WWE Divas Champions The Bella Twins.

More names are to be announced as we near closer to October 28th but one individual who has taken her name off the return list is former 7-time TNA Knockouts Champion Gail Kim. Kim was told on Twitter that it would be nice to see her return to WWE for 'Evolution' but she turned down the idea of a return and noted that she'd only come out of retirement if it was for IMPACT Wrestling and explained why.

Gail Kim explained why she would only return if it was for IMPACT and speaking of the company they recently held tapings for forthcoming episodes of IMPACT TV and to take a look at what's to come in the coming weeks, head over to Fightful's spoilers article.
