GCW Heading to Berwyn Eagles Club For “One Night Only” Event

After Brett Lauderdale teased a “One Night Only” announcement, he delivered when Game Changer Wrestling revealed they’d be running the historic Berwyn Eagles Club. On Saturday, January 3, GCW presents “GCW Chicago Death Match” for a special one-night event.

Since 2005, the Berwyn Eagles Club has primarily hosted AAW Wrestling. In past years, other promotions such as BLP, RPW, ICW, and DCW have used the venue.

Chicago Death Match is set to be their first show of 2026. Currently, the last show scheduled for 2025 is the 10th annual Nick Gage Invitational, taking place on December 13 in Orlando, FL.

GCW will be live on Thriller TV tonight for “You Wouldn’t Understand”. In the main event, Effy defends the GCW World Championship against Shotzi Blackheart.
