Gigi Dolin Beats Jacy Jayne, D'Angelo Locks Dijak Up | NXT Fight Size

Here's your Fight Size update following WWE NXT on March 7, 2023.

- In a heated battle between former tag team partners, Gigi Dolin defeated Jacy Jayne. After the bell, Jayne attacked Dolin.

Anthony Edwards Hits The Phoenix Suns With A DX Crotch Chop And Another Loss

- Dijak battled Tony D'Angelo in a Jailhouse Street Fight. They waged war with chairs, and Dijak hit D'Angelo with a baton. Dijak took control with a diving elbow drop through a table. D'Angelo briefly gained the upper hand, and Dijak targeted Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, which only fired "The Don" up. Dijak hit D'Angelo below the belt and dropped him with the Feast Your Eyes. When he tried to lock D'Angelo in the cell, "Stacks" threw himself in the way to save his boss. D'Angelo then hit Dijak with a crowbar and locked him in the cell to win the match.

- NXT Champion Bron Breakker teamed up with the Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) to face Indus Sher (Jinder Mahal, Veer Mahaan & Sanga). The two teams went back and forth in a competitive match. Carmelo Hayes joined the commentary team so he could scout Breakker. Despite an impressive effort from Indus Sher, the Creed Brothers scored the win by pinning Veer.

- Tyler Bate helped Thea Hail with some breathing exercises. He told her no one is beyond fear. Duke Hudson said he couldn't believe anyone would buy the snake oil he was selling. Joe Gacy defeated Andre Chase, though Thea Hail overcame her fear and confronted Ava Raine. After the match, Hail apologized for Chase's loss. Duke Hudson emphasized that they lost again. He said Chase U was an institution of losers, and they were a joke. He then walked away.

- Later in the show, NXT Champion Bron Breakker called out Carmelo Hayes, and they agreed to face each other at NXT Stand & Deliver.

- Roxanne Perez successfully defended the NXT Women's Championship against Meiko Satomura. Perez collapsed after the match, and she was taken out of the arena on a stretcher.

- Shawn Michaels appeared on The Grayson Waller Effect with Grayson Waller, who said Michaels wasn't who he thought he was. Waller continued to take shots at Michaels and NXT. When he challenged Michaels to a match, Michaels revealed that Waller would be facing the returning Johnny Gargano at NXT Stand & Deliver.

- Dragon Lee appeared in the crowd. Lee commented on tweeting that he had arrived.

- Tiffany Stratton opened the show and previewed the lineup. She vowed that she'd see the winner of the NXT Women's Championship Match at NXT Stand & Deliver.

- Josh Briggs met with Kiana James and noted that Brooks Jensen hadn't been the same since Valentine's Day. He said he wanted Jensen to be happy. James made it clear that she wanted to make it right. Later in the show, Briggs talked to Jensen and realized that James got roses from someone who wasn't Jensen. Fallon Henley teased that she had an idea as to how to handle the situation.

- NXT Tag Team Champions Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) squared off with Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson), who appeared on the podium above the crowd. Gallus made it clear that they wanted to get Pretty Deadly in the ring. Pretty Deadly said they wanted the titles, and Gallus told them to come get them. Pretty Deadly came to the ring, and Gallus took the fight to them. The champions sent Pretty Deadly running.

- NXT North American Champion Wes Lee discussed his win over Nathan Frazer and noted there's been plenty of chaos lately. He said he'll host another open challenge next week. Axiom stepped up and said he accepted. Lee encouraged him to make it to the ring first.

- Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre performed a moonlight ritual snd highlighted the disharmony between Tatum Paxley and Ivy Nile. Dawn and Fyre said they were unmatched when they were together, and they teased their plan to make an impact.

- In a promo, Ilja Dragunov said the eyes are the window to the soul, but JD McDonagh has no soul. He stated that McDonagh would never break his will.

- Lyra Valkyrie expressed her interest in the NXT Women's Championship and said she was flying to the top.

- Johnny Gargano commented on his return and recalled his emotioanl message when he left NXT.

- Grayson Waller tweeted a brief response following Gargano's return and warned that Gargano had made the worst mistake of his life.

- In a NXT Exclusive, Tony D'Angelo commented on his win and stated that anyone who misses with The Family will have to answer to him.
