Duane Gill, who has been in the wrestling business since the early 90's has captured a number of championships and added numerous accolades to his resume' throughout his time in the sport. With that, Duane Gill is mostly remembered for playing the character of "Gillberg" who is a parody version of WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg.
Gillberg has been in headlines this year because he had a "Clash Of The Titans" battle in IWC with James Ellsworth and then the two went on to become ACW Tag Team Champions. Tonight, Gillberg was scheduled to be a part of AIW Wrestling's 'Rubber City Con' in Ohio along with Kelly Kelly, WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T, Hornswoggle, Allysin Kay and others. AIW posted an update on Twitter concerning the event and shared a screen-grab of a text message from Gillberg who noted that he will not be able to attend the event because of seafood poisoning so 'Absolute Intense Wrestling' announced that former IWA Mid-South Television Champion Shark Boy will be replacing Gillberg.
