GLEAT Reveals Multitude Of Injuries That Takanori Ito Sustained In Traffic Accident, Ito Set To Undergo Surgery

A long recovery ahead for Ito.

It was in early August when GLEAT shared the news that Takanori Ito was going to be out of action for the foreseeable future due to injuries he suffered in a traffic accident.

The exact nature of the injuries Ito sustained has been revealed by GLEAT. They are listed as follows:

• Left MCL injury
• Meniscus injury in the left knee
• Left elbow contusion
• Injury to the right elbow medial collateral ligament
• Cervical sprain
• Lumbar contusion
• Hip pointer bruising
• Right ankle sprain
• Right ankle contusion

Ito will also be undergoing knee surgery. Police are still investigating the circumstances of the traffic accident.
