Good news GLOW fans, the series has been renewed for a season three by Netflix.
Season 2 of the series premiere on June 29 to outstanding reviews. The second season had a congregate score of 85 on Metacritic. Over at Rotten Tomatoes, the series has 96 percent fresh rating with an audience score of 88 percent.
GLOW was nominated for 10 Primetime Emmy's including Outstanding Comedy Series. Betty Gilpin, who plays Debbie "Liberty Belle" Eagan, is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
The cast appeared on an episode of SmackDown prior to the release of the second season. You can see the clip in the video above. GLOW characters have also drawn comparisons to current day WWE superstars.
GLOW stars Alison Brie, Gilpin, and Marc Maron. The former Awesome Kong also serves as one of the stars. Chavo Guerrero Jr. helps with the production of the show. You can binge the first two seasons right now on Netflix.
