The wrestling world helps out "Lionheart."
Less than 24 hours ago, Insane Championship Wrestling set up a GoFundMe to help the family of Adrian "Lionheart" McCallum pay for funeral costs after the 36-year-old ICW World Heavyweight Champion tragically passed away on Wednesday. The goal for the GoFundMe was set at £6,000.
The wrestling world united and, as of this writing, the GoFundMe has doubled its initial goal with the total currently up to £13,627. Many wrestlers contributed to the fund including NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis, WWE veteran Natalya Neidhart, NXT UK stars Noam Dar and Jordan Devlin, Bull James, IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay, and more.
We are heartbroken to learn of the death of Adrian 'Lionheart' McCallum. Adrian was a mainstay of British professional wrestling. Most importantly, he was our friend. His passing leaves a huge hole in the lives of those who knew him.
All donations will be sent to Adrian's family to help with funeral costs.
