Goldberg Admitted It Was Tough Getting Over Undertaker Match At Super ShowDown

Goldberg's match against The Undertaker at WWE Super ShowDown was the talk of the wrestling world, though not for the right reasons.

Wrestling with a concussion, several people in the wrestling world panned the match, including NXT superstar Matt Riddle. Goldberg hadn't appeared on WWE television for months after that match until a few weeks ago when he appeared as the surprise opponent for Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam.

Goldberg sat down with Booker T appearing on his Hall Of Fame podcast to discuss that match against Undertaker at Saudi Arabia and said he felt like he disappointed a lot of people with how he did.

“This Saudi Arabia thing with Taker man, that was a tough one dude. Mentally, it was a really tough one for me to get over and I’m never gonna get over it. No matter how bad I hurt myself, I failed a number of people in a number of ways, mostly and mainly myself," Goldberg said.

Goldberg beat Ziggler in quick fashion at SummerSlam on August 11 at the Scotiabank Arena, delivering multiple spears after Ziggler taunted him post-match.
