Goldberg On Bobby Lashley Match: There Won't Be A Lot Of Technique, It's Just Two Big Monsters

Goldberg emerged on the July 19 episode of WWE Raw to confront Bobby Lashley following Lashley dispatching of Keith Lee.

Goldberg was previously on WWE television in January when he lost to WWE Championship Drew McIntyre at the Royal Rumble.

Speaking on the CarCast, Goldberg revealed that he's had more time to prepare for Lashley and is looking forward to their showdown.

"If the guy is going to steal my move, he may as well perfect it," he said of Lashley's spear. "I'm thinking Godzilla vs. the geriatric King Kong. The fact is, there will not be a lot of technique, not a lot of aerial moves, I would think. It's just two big monsters doing the old school, telling a story in a wrestling ring. Good vs. evil. At this point in my career, I keep coming back sparingly. I don't know who is good vs. evil, I guess we're both evil. The guy has been spearing people for ten years, trying to copy my move. The other night he does the jackhammer. I don't understand why these guys make me come out of retirement to teach respect. This time they gave me eight weeks. Lashley is going to be pissed about that one because I'll be doubly ready. I'm looking forward to it. We've talked in the past and it's been drudgery and I've been bitching and moaning all the time. I'm still bitching and moaning, but I have a smile on my face because I know I'm more prepared than I was last time."

It was said on the podcast that Goldberg was given 48 hours notice to appear on Raw when he confronted McIntyre. The confrontation happened on the January 4 episode of Raw. Goldberg would wrestle on January 31 at the Royal Rumble.

When asked if having more time to prepare helps, Goldberg replied, "It helps exponentially, there's no doubt about that. I'm looking forward to it. It's like putting time in at the track and being to test before you have to go out and race."

The bout between Lashley and Goldberg has not been made official by WWE.

Goldberg is being advertised for the August 2 episode of WWE Raw.
