The February 21st, 2020 episode of WWE SmackDown will feature a WWE Hall of Famer live in attendance and a number one contenders match for a Historic Championship bout.
Just six days before he challenges “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the WWE Universal championship, Goldberg will appear live in Phoenix, Arizona to address Bray Wyatt and the WWE Universe.
The Universal Championship won't be the only title on the line in Saudi Arabia, however. Bailey will make history as the first woman to ever defend a WWE Championship in Saudi Arabia when she faces the winner of Carmella vs Naomi on the February 21 episode of WWE SmackDown
Carmela had initially earned an opportunity to face Bayley for the championship on February 7 when she defeated Alexa Bliss, Naomi, and Dana Brooke in a fatal 4-way match. She would have the match against Bayley on February 14th, and the incumbent Champion would cheat her way to a victory, which would then lead to both Naomi and Carmella attacking the champion due to the fact that they are both fed up with her new code of conduct.
Later on the February 14 show, Bayley would announce that she would defend her championship in Saudi Arabia and claimed she did not care against who, which would lead to both Carmella and Naomi pleading their case and the number one contender's bout being made.
