Goldberg burst onto the wrestling scene in 1997 after short-lived NFL career with the Atlanta Falcons. Goldberg almost immediately shot to the top of the card in WCW, winning the WCW World Title and running off an undefeated streak from September 1997 to December 1998.
Being new put in a high profile position, Goldberg has taken notice of Logan Paul and what he's accomplished in the ring in a short amount of time.
Speaking to Ross Von Erich and Marshall Von Erich on The Claw podcast, Goldberg was asked who has impressed him from today's generation. Goldberg admitted he doesn't keep up with much nowadays, but mentioned Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Bron Breakker, and Paul.
"Logan Paul. To be able to come in and not be someone from the business and be able to pick it up so quickly and be innovative at the same time. I was new. I was from the outside. I get it. I understand. That's what makes it such an accomplishment. Personally, I don't know the dudes that well, but professionally, I look at it and can pass my judgment," he said.
Paul has had 20 matches during his WWE career.
Elsewhere during the interview, Goldberg gave more insight into his upcoming retirement match. You can find his full comments here.
