Bobby Lashley ran through Kofi Kingston and Keith Lee on back-to-back nights and after dispatching of Lee, he was confronted by Goldberg.
Goldberg made his return to WWE, stepping to "The Almighty" WWE Champion. Lashley was none too pleased as Goldberg's music hit following his win over Lee, which ended with a spear. Goldberg got in Lashley's face, laughed, and screamed "I'm Next!"

Goldberg is under contract to work two matches per year through the end of 2022. He previously faced Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship in January at the Royal Rumble.
Fightful Select reported on July 15 that WWE's plan was for Goldberg to appear on Raw to set up a SummerSlam match with Lashley.
