In terms of WWE’s current roster, several Australian born superstars are currently involved in their show’s programming, from Rhea Ripley and Grayson on the main roster to the likes of Zaria in NXT. Outside WWE, talent across AEW, TNA and the independent scene are also making their name. Additionally, MMA has featured several Australian fighters coming through the ranks, as well as in boxing.
While speaking in a new video posted to Zuffa Boxing’s social media, Grayson Waller would make it clear that in his mind, Australian athletes ‘run combat sports’, with Rhea Ripley concurring with her fellow WWE superstar in the same video.
“Once again, the Australians, we run combat sports. Whether it’s UFC, whether it’s Zuffa Boxing, or whether it’s WWE, the Australians are the best in the world, and we’re gonna keep taking over.”
