Grayson Waller: We Haven’t Seen The Real CM Punk Yet

Grayson Waller says we haven't seen the real CM Punk yet.

Back at Survivor Series 2023, CM Punk made his shocking return to WWE, and has gone on to have memorable programs with Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins, two men who seemingly had hostile reactions to the return of the 'Best In The World'. One man who has yet to cross paths with Punk in the squared circle in WWE is Grayson Waller.

Undertaker: Jacob Fatu Hasn't Even Scratched The Surface Of His Potential

While speaking in a recent interview with Gabby AF, Grayson discussed Punk, noting that we have not seen the real CM Punk yet.

"I still don’t think we’ve seen the real CM Punk back in WWE yet. I understand what he’s trying to do. He’s trying to make sure that his reputation has improved. ‘I’m so happy to be here. I love the fans! Thanks for everything!’ I know the truth. Punk wants to be champion. Punk wants to be the guy. He wants to main event WrestleMania and do whatever it takes. I just can’t wait for the day that he shows that and I’m proven right."

Punk most recently competed in the men's Royal Rumble match, finding himself eliminated by Logan Paul.

Both Grayson Waller and Austin Theory will challenge for the NXT Championship at NXT Vengeance Day. You can read more about that here.
