Greg Miller Details How He Put Himself In Position To Be Heard During Tribal Combat

Greg Miller has done plenty of work with WWE throughout the years, including being on pre-shows and now hosting "This Is Awesome" on Peacock.

While Greg was not on the WWE SummerSlam 2023 kick off show, he says he got bumped for time, he was still heard during the broadcast.

As Roman Reigns and Jey Uso brawling into the crowd during Tribal Combat, a fan could be heard shouting things like "Do it for Jimmy, Jey" and "You're the real tribal chief." That fan turned out to be Greg Miller.

Speaking on his Kinda Funny podcast, Miller explained how he got himself in position to be heard.

"We're row 14 and 15, then there's the big aisle way for people to walk to their seats. I got up for a bathroom break, and when I came back, I tried to cut down the aisle way and they were like, 'No, sorry, we're closing it off.' They were putting up a table. I came back in, sat next to [friend] Po and [son] Jack, 'dudes, something is about to go down.' This is during the Charlotte, Asuka, Bianca match. Either they're going to do a spot here, but that doesn't make sense, it's Tribal Combat. They're going to do a table spot. They're putting a laptop on it, bottles. All I was thinking of is when I was yelling at Brock Lesnar. 'I need that moment again,'" he said.

Miller noted that the fans next to him were big supporters of Roman Reigns, and they apologized for how loud they were being. Miller said it was fine and that he's usually the loudest person in his row, but had a reason to remain quiet before things spilled to the crowd.

"As soon as they start to brawl over the barricade, I grab Jack and drag him over his row to be back there with me. I wanted every ounce of energy saved up for this. I was already like, 'what am I going to say?' I really wanted Jey to be on top because I could've gotten a hug or high five. They get over there and it was every ounce of energy and voice I had. The camera backs up to me," he said, noting that the camera was basically serving as his microphone.

Miller said that his phone was immediately blowing up and that part of wrestling Twitter was confused while others had to explain that it was Miller being loud.
